Vacation Part V: Casa De La Mamá Parte 2
I got up early on day two at moms. I just couldn't sleep. So, I played a little Xbox (man I love Forza 2) for a while. Just a note: my mom had a new air conditioning system installed and it works great. So great that I had to scrounge up a few of Izzie's blankets. Alone, they are worthless to me, but together they work great for big kids.

After breakfast Grannie gave Izzie a bath. For some reason Izzie liked Grannie's bath better than mine because she cried for me. I guess it's the good ol' experience of a seasoned mother (not an age joke).

After the bath, the girls went to town to do some shopping. I stayed at the house with Uncle D...we played Xbox. A perfect day for vacation.
My best friend, Jake, since grade school lives in Spokane. He stopped by for the evening to visit. It was his first time seeing my baby girl, and it seems that she liked him. She nearly fell asleep in his arms. Then she did the Izzie scare. That would be where she wakes up slightly and whacks herself in the head. Then she wakes up all the way and screams. I still don't understand why it happens.

That night mom re-wrapped Uncle D's leg after a shower. She's such a caring mom. Hopefully I inherited that trait. We'll find out in a few years. I have a sneaking suspicion that I will though.

It was a nice relaxing day for everyone.
