Good Feedback
It's been a couple of days. Our friends, the Zupans, come over from Bozeman this weekend. We haven't seen them since last summer, so it was fun to see them and catch up. They loved Izzie (but how could you not...seriously).
I see Kord posed an interesting dilemma a couple of blogs ago. Truth is, I have had to deal with stray poop. The first one you saw in a previous post where it ran out of the diaper and all over me. I didn't change that diaper though; I just hollered for Lynnell to come get her (lucky). The second time I did find the surprise. It was another leak. The poop had found it's way out of the diaper and on to her leg, but with the blanket over her, I couldn't tell that there was a problem until I went to change her. Turned out that she was able to get it all the way to her knees. I didn't find it too big of a deal, but that might be because I used a ton of wipes that time.
That's the other thing I'm still a little sketchy over. I don't want to use a wipe and then fold it to reuse it. I mean, what if I get poop on my hand. That's not cool. At the same time, I hate wasting wipes. I always feel like I use 2 or 3...or 9 too many anyways. So, I'm still learning the art of maximizing the wipe. Oh, and I'm getting better at doing the diaper roll. I never knew there was a technique until Lynnell informed me that I was doing it wrong. I was just folding it it half and throwing it away. Seriously, who needs to touch it any more than necessary. I know I don't, but apparently I should.
Every morning before I go to work, I go into Izzie's room to say goodbye. This morning I went in and she was just barely waking up. She's so cute. The first picture is her squirming, and I snapped the second mid-stretch.
