Baby No. 2 Is On the Way!

Yep. We decided to stop preventing in December last year and sure enough what usually happens happened. We got pregnant.

We had our first appointment was on my Birthday (Feb. 23 for those of you keeping track). Here's the pictures.


I never noticed it before, but getting an ultrasound is kind of like experiencing the wizard of Oz first hand. There's this white haired man pushing buttons and doing unknown things to people I care about all while I'm standing there watching helplessly. Know I know how the Dorothy and crew felt.


I really like our doc, and this time around I can get to know the guy a little better because we don't have a bunch of first-timer questions to ask.

And of course I'll share the good pictures this time around. I'm bummed I never posted Izzie's ultrasound pictures. Maybe that'll be a good post for a birthday or something.



So, yes, there is news, and this is it. I'm excited, Lynnell is excited, and neither of us can tell if Izzie truly grasps the nature of the whole thing to say whether she's excited. She does point at mommy's belly and say "baby" a lot, so maybe it's sinking it.
