Iv's Three Month Doctor Visit
Iv had his three month doctor appointment and vaccination shots a couple of weeks early since the holidays and the first of the year were going to be hectic. Here we are on December 21st walking the one block distance from our house to the pediatricians office. It was a fairly warm day, so we didn't wear much.

A quick weigh in and height check: 15lbs. 4oz. (90%) and 23.5" (45%)

Then it was back to the room for further inspection and torture. First we had to wait... as always.

More waiting...

Then finally the Doc showed up.

After a brief inspection and Q&A session it was time for the poor little guy to get his immunizations. The oral ones were the easy ones.

Then there were the deep flesh shots into the bone marrow (or at least that what it sounded like according to Iv).

Note the color of the little guys head in the previous picture just as he gets stabbed in the leg, and then compare that to the color of his head in the next picture as he feels the pain set in.

A couple of shots later the color was still there. He only cried for about 30 seconds or so, and then he seemed ok with it all.

We headed home and let the guy sleep away the pain in his swing.

Just like Izzie, he'll be scarred for life, but he'll be thankful later.
