Izzie's 18 Month Doctor Visit

Izzie had her 18 month checkup on December 29th just after we got home from vacation.

Here she is discovering the toys at the doctors office. Turns out that they were fairly boring for her. She's still a bigger fan of the fish.



After a nice short wait (probably because we were late) we went back to the torture chamber. Here's the nurse sizing up Izzie's brain to see how much it will fetch on the menu.


Length measurement.


And then there's the real way to determine her black market price... weight.


The old reflex test.


Breathing test.


Ear test.


Torture test...



Yeah, more shots. Lucky for Izzie it was only one shot this time, and even luckier, she doesn't have to get any more until she's 5. She barely cried this time, but insert the binky and it all goes away.


Add a band aid and the world begins turning again.


What did this all tell us? Well, she's just as healthy as ever and growing strong. Yay Izzie!
